Our "Cold Cash" is a BRIGHT white male with a sturdy and balanced frame, covered with dense, fine bundles of fleece. He has lovely consistency of fleece architecture from his hips to his chest, and down towards the belly. This is reflected in his incredible EPDs that have remained consistently (almost boringly) outstanding for 7 years! His sire, Snowmass Seven Below was Julie Skinner's "not-so-secret weapon" for consistency, and Cold Cash is proof of that point!
You wanna talk RETAINED FINENESS? His AFD is 19.8 at almost 7 years of age. SDAFD is 3.2 with Cov 16.4 and only 0.9%>30! Talk about uniformity of micron!!
His PEDIGREE is unrivaled: His dam is a Matrix daughter out of a Legacy/XXXtreme bloodline. On his sire's side there is a lineup of Herdsires of the Year: his sire is Herdsire of the Year Snowmass Seven Below, who is also a son of Herdsire of the Year Snowmass Sub Zero, with Accoyocusani and other notables in his bloodlines. Seven Below was one of Snowmass' top herdsires, and he is considered their "secret weapon" for passing on uniformity of micron and fleece architecture.

We had to hold back on breeding on our farm for a few years, but Cash's first cria is gorgeous!! We are still breeding very selectively, but Cash is tops on our list. HIs daughter, Chungara, recently took a blue ribbon in fleece.
Cold Cash is co-owned with Dave and Sheila Scroggins of Colusa Riverside Alpacas. They are known for their attention to outstanding EPDs, and they have put him to work on many of their females. He will be returning to our farm in Marin County in May, 2022 and will be available then for outside breedings.
