GLR CHASKA

GLL Macatawa was sold off our farm as a weanling. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to buy her back in 2005. Her mother Macusani has been one of our favorite foundation females forever. When we bought GLL Macatawa, she had been bred to 4P Miguel, a white, full Accoyo male. To say the least we were shocked to see her produce a true black half accoyo male son at her side, Shavano. Shavano was the 2006 AAA Futurity Black Male Color Champion and the 2006 MAPACA Black Male Res. Color Champion. As a yearling Shavano was 1st in his class at the 2007 AAA Futurity and the 2007 AOBA Nationals and was named the Dark Herdsire of the Year at the 2010 AAA Futurity. Macatawa's 2006 cria is a silver grey female, GLR Luna, sired by Platinum Marquis and she gave birth on the 4th of July, 2007 to yet another beautiful silver grey female cria, GLR Chasca, sired by Platinum Marquis. GLR Chasca sold at the AOBA Nationals in Sandy Utah. She was the Grey Female Color Champion at MAPACA, 2nd place in her class at AOBA and she was 1st at the Michigan Breeders show (no color championship). Macatawa delivered another beautiful classic grey female in 2009. Her beautiful 2010 Platinum Marquis daughter , GLR Macata, will sell at the 2011 AAA Futurity. Macatawa is bred to Young Felipe for a fall 2011 cria.
