A daughter of the illustrious Accoyo Apache II and Accoyo Mallory Jane, this lovely girl has brilliant luster and independence of lock. She has an angular, well-covered regal head and a tall, solid, well-conformed frame. She placed First in the White Female class at IAO 2008, Second at the 2008 AOBA National Show, and took impressive fleece show championships as well. CJ's boy by Derwydd Accoyo Chask'a, SoCal's Accoyo Riobamba, took the SUPREME Championship at the International Alpaca Odyssey (2012), and he has several blue ribbons at other shows. His full brother, SoCal Accoyo Tiburon also took several championships--he is co-owned with Derwydd Alpacas and he is on our stud row. Their full sister, Accoyo Amazona is now owned by Alpacas of El Dorado. CJ would do very well bred to our herdsire, Accoyo Kahuna's Giovanni. Sugar is one of our top females, a Medium Fawn girl with depth of color in her genetics. Her bloodlines include Pacific Crest Iceman, son of the legendary MacGyver, and known for his extreme fineness. Her dam brings a True Black sire into the mix, so Sugar covers just about every color. Her latest cria, by Saber's Red Storm Rising, is a True Black female who drips with luster and has won numerous blue ribbons. She is an easy breeder and an excellent dam. She has passed on her exceptional luster and elegant conformation to her offspring Sugar has moved to her new digs at Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area. Silk is aptly named--her fine, lustrous locks are soft and silky. Get a look at her 2011 histogram--at 3 years of age, her AFD is still 21.4 microns! She comes by this honestly--her sire is the famous Snowmass Silken Gold. Her dam is beige and with her fawn sire, Silk should cover color as well! Winter Silk is a tall girl with good bone and a very pleasing personality. She loves to run up and plant kisses on visitors. Silk also has excellent fleece statistics--see her 2015 AND 2017 EPD values, which are terrific across the board! Silk's first cria, Silken Radiance (by our herdsire, Quechua Radiance), has luminous, ropey locks with great density. And boy, does he have a sturdy frame! The judges absolutely loved him at the International Alpaca Odyssey, giving him the Color Championship in halter and the blue ribbon in "walking fleece", praising his fabulous luster. SHE'S STILL GOT IT--check out her EPDs below! We couldn't believe our good fortune to win Q'orianka at the AOBA Nationals Show Auction in 2008. Her list of winnings was impressive, and continued to grow to be one of our most impressive "resumes" ever! She has beautiful locking (took "Best Lock" at the 2009 MAPACA show, at 3 years of age!) and luster on a very solid, compact frame. Q'orianka has been an excellent mother to her crias, each of whom has an impressive show career. One of the things I like about Q'orianka is that she has a calm, level headed personality. She's traveled all over the country for shows, and she takes it all in stride. She has been an excellent "auntie" when she has been needed to be a companion to a new mother--she helps nurture the cria (and she appreciates the extra food!) Why do we have Q'orianka listed for sale? We have way too many alpacas on our farm and we simply cannot do the breeding that we would like to do. I feel bad every time I look at this wonderful female--she ought to be breeding and producing outstanding crias on a regular basis. We simply can't use her until we drop our population!
