Accoyo Belita is a beautiful female who carries suberb luster along with density and strong bone. She is an average sized girl with correct conformation and a perfect bite. Her elite genetics run deep; her dam (Accoyo America Pearl) was the High Selling Suri at Greg Mecklum's 2006 Parade of Champions Auction. Pearl is the daughter of the the reknown fawn male, the late Accoyo Apache II, who once led Greg's Suri line. Now add to all that, Belita mirrors the outstanding characteristics of her Multi Champion sire, the revered fawn Accoyo LCA Rico from the famed Latah Creek dynasty. His awards include 12 competitive blue ribbons in halter and fleece, and 8 Championships including MAPACA, AOBA (twice), AWE, and the Futurity! We are confident that Belita carries color genetics from her dam and sire, because her first cria by the very white Accoyo Bracito was a Light Fawn Accoyo male! Accoyo America Pearl is a full Accoyo suri daughter of the revered fawn Accoyo male: the late Apache II, who led the suri herdsire lineup at Pacific Crest/Accoyo America for years. Pearl's bloodlines feature Uribe on both dam and sire sides, with Ganador and strong Accoyo female lines as well. Pearl has a beautiful conformation with excellent bone, loads of luster, and well-defined locks. She is an outstanding producer, having birthed 3 healthy crias in 3 years, and a fourth cria was born Aug. 1, 2012. Her latest cria, a full-Accoyo Kahuna grandson, weighed 19.5 lbs at birth and is strong and healthy with long legs and beautiful locking. No wonder Pearl sold for $80,000 and was the HIGH SELLING SURI FEMALE at the Accoyo America PARADE OF CHAMPIONS auction in 2006!

From the respected PVA program, Fanfare is an AWE Champion and Futurity Blue Ribbon winner. She comes from strong black genetics on both sides. Fanfare is an impressive, elegant female with a ram-rod straight back and her sire's perfect head. Nice locking and density, and each of her offspring have had good to outstanding luster (even the huacaya "love child"!) and nice personalities. She is an excellent mother--textbook birthings, lots of milk, and a good maternal instinct. Fanfare comes bred to our True Black Futurity RC, RGSA Coppola, who sired her award-winning son, Fredo. She is due in late June, 2024.

Briana is sired by Young Accoyo Carmello, from the breeding program of Amanda Vandenbosch. He is an elite champion and valued for his prepotency with enviable genetics. Briana's dam is Accoyo America Pearl, the daughter of the late, revered fawn Accoyo Apache II. Pearl was the High Selling Suri Female at the 2006 Accoyo America Parade of Champions auction. Briana carries beautiful luster and brightness inside those locks, which is why she was the the blue ribbon and Color Champion winner at the California Classic. She is a large girl with excellent bone and a perfect, balanced conformation. Briana is due with her first cria by champion AAOA Accoyo Kahuna's Giovanni in August of 2012.

GLR Chaska, a full Peruvian, fourth generation silver grey gal, is sired by the famous Platinum Marquis. Her dam, GLL Macatawa, is the dam of a Futurity Color Champion. Chaska, herself is the proud winner of the MAPACA Jubilee first place ribbon and Color Championship! Chaska is a tall, elegant lady. with lovely silver locks. We love our Miss Chi! She's a graceful, beige lady with fine, bright locks and loads of luster. She is an excellent Mom and has a pleasing personality. She is so funny to watch--she does a little jump for joy each day when she comes in for her pellets! Anabella has lots of color genetics on both dam and sire's sides and she comes with a breeding if desired. She has been an excellent mother to her 3 offspring with trouble-free births. Miss Chi had a lovely light fawn male cria in early April, 2011, who took numerous championships in halter and fleece categories and was sold to a farm in Idaho. Take a look at our Siriana! We thought she was bay black, but the judge proclaimed her a TRUE black, and she has luster and locking for all to admire! She's an average-sized girl with nice bone and a level top line. She was an excellent mother to her first cria. Did you get a gander at her ARI certificate? Whoo-eee! Her sire is the legendary grey super-stud, WWR Prince Greystone! He is known for passing "harlequin grey"'/modern grey/appaloosa phenotypes to his many award-winning offspring. It was such a pleasure to watch our girl, Marygold, develop into a lovely, densely-locked, lustrous yearling with good bone and excellent conformation. Her bloodlines are impressive--the legendary Sirius Black is her sire, and he brings in the pedigree of MacGyver and Bruxo. Her dam, Paiget of PVA, is a lustrous black Kobe daughter and she follows in the lines of Mahogany Prince. Marygold is an eye-catching medium fawn girl, but with black genetics from sire and dam, she can certainly produce darker offspring. She has had 4 crias--all uneventful pregnancies and deliveries, and she has been a great mom. Marygold has passed her very cute head to all of her crias--short muzzle, curly bangs. She has also passed on density and luster, and her quiet, reserved personality. This is a true quality animal! Marygold had a gorgeous rose grey/appy female by our AOBA champion, WWR Prince Greystone. Each of her 4 offspring have her curly bangs and lustrous fleece, good bite, and solid, well-balanced frame. Rosalinda is a TRUE BLACK female with luster and locking to envy. Her bloodlines include Kobe and Mahogany Prince from her dam's side, and her sire is the famous Sierra Bonita Sirius Black. We are very proud of her multiple blue ribbon winning True Black daughter Siriana, and her CHAMPION son, Marko--both by Prince Greystone. Our Sweet Crude is a bay/true black daughter of Dark Brown AOBA Champion and Judge's Choice at the Ohio Buckeye Show, Saber's Red Storm Rising. She is dripping with luster and has beautiful flat locks to the skin. She has grown into her frame nicely as she matured, just like her sire--Red Storm had a big growth spurt around 18 months and is now a strapping, muscular fellow. He passes on a particular conformational trait that we see in Sweet Crude--very straight front legs. Sweet Crude's dam is a daughter of Pacific Crest Ice Man--a MacGyver son. Sugar Sugar is a blue ribbon winner in her own right. I've just prepared Sweet Crude's fleece for show, and I love it! She has lovely definition of locking--those small little locks join up with others to form larger locks--just like they're supposed to! There's luster and fineness, and I think this fleece will do very well in competition! And take a look at her histogram--an AFD of 19.7 in a black Suri? Wow! This cria does not sell with Chan Chan, but she does come with a breeding, and it's a "no brainer" to go with Curandero's magnificent sire, Saber's Red Storm Rising. This guy has won numerous level 5 championships and Judge's choice awards. SoCal's Miski is a lovely Medium Rose Grey girl with areas of Silver Grey mixed in--isn't that what "grey" is all about in alpacas? Qoricancha is an elegant white female with statuesque conformation and well-defined locking--a trait she inherited from her award-winning fawn full Accoyo sire, Ch'aska. She has a level topline and nice density and luster. She has a fawn spot on her left flank, so she carries some color from her fawn Accoyo sire. Her dam is one of our best producers, and Qoricancha should make an excellent foundation female. With her tall, athletic build and her blonde/white bangs, I always say that she looks like a Southern California beach volley ball player. Scherezade is royalty in the making. Her grandsires are true legends: Prince Greystone who is an AOBA champion with "too many to count" champion offspring, and MACGYVER--probably the most influential colored suri EVER! Her sire, MacGyver's Balboa, is also a living legend, and one of the top working herdsires today. And her dam, Greystone's Siriana, is no slouch--with several blue ribbons and a pedigree that includes Sirius Black and Kobe. Scheherezade is absolutely lovely--she catches the eye of all our visitors, even those who have never seen an alpaca. For months, we thought she was a "multi", with brown, black, and beige spots. But as happens so often in Greystone's line, those spots have melded together to form a classic modern rose grey fleece. But, she still has her freckles! Scherezade has a perfect head (the calling card of Balboa) and a medium, well-balanced frame. Long staple length considering she is only 8 months old, and she is getting very lustrous at the skin. Because we work a lot with 4H kids, Scheherezade is a sweetie and is cautiously friendly with humans. She will go to her first show in April and then be shorn. JUST IN--EXCELLENT 2017 EPDS! The Yunkas are the fog-shrouded "Cloud Forests" in Peru. Our Yunka's sire, Accoyo Chachapoya (the Cloud Warrior) was the last breeding full-Accoyo import in the US. Her dam, TSSS Wyuna's Silvanna, is a futurity champion from the Pucara program, who passes on her sire's (Wyuna) zig-zagging locks and density to her daughter, our Yunka. Diva is one of those very rare alpacas--a "hua-suri". Her dam is our prized white huacaya female, Lauca, who is in the top 1% EPD each year for fleece weight. Her sire is....well, we don't know who her sire is, but he's a suri! So, she is phenotypically a suri (suri is dominant) but has the softness and a bit of crimp of a huacaya. She is beige in color, and when she was young her ears were ligth fawn. I don't see that anymore, but thought I'd mention it. And she is dense! Her raw fleece is snapped up by the hand spinners each year--for a pretty price, I might add. There is no reason that Diva can't breed, and I expect she would be a very good mother. Bred to a huacaya, she has a 50% chance of producing a huacaya. Bred to suri she will produce suri. Diva is on our farm at Alpacas of Marin

Thank you for your interest in Maxine. She came to us after breeding to the famous WLK Electrofyre, and produced our fabulous Elektroshock in June, 2019. Now she is re-bred to our true black futurity reserve champion, RGSA Coppola for a cria in April, 2021. The 2017 EPD calculation has moved Maxine to the top 10% for 3 traits. Well, you can't go wrong with our Quechua Warrior...He's the son of our legendary multi-champion, half-Accoyo female, Q'orianka. His sire is the illustrious Accoyo import, 6P Chachapoya (co-owned by Pucara International, Derwydd Alpacas, and Alpacas of El Dorado)! Quechua Warrior has beautiful luster, and well-defined penciled locks with excellent density--both his parents contribute to that. He has a nice sturdy frame at barely one year of age, and he'll "muscle out" in the year to come. Unfortunately, Warrior passed away at 16 months of age, but we leave him on the "active" list as a tribute to his dam and sire, as well as in tribute to the beautiful young male that he was.

OOPS!! It happens--a lovely fawn "Hua-Suri". Mestizo has found a good home where they LOVE hua-suris!

2013 Perfect Storm's fleece was entered in 4 Spin-off with great results. Though he had no direct competition, his scores and comments were spectacular. Comments included "Butter Soft", " This would have done well in a large class", "Next to skin garments", Soft, shiny, great luster", "Baby garments". A beautiful juvenile son of our 5X Champion, Saber's Red Storm Rising. This young boy has outstanding promise and has fine fleece, gorgeous luster with independent locks. This all on a correct frame with straight legs, level topline and wonderful presence. Red Storm has already produced one champion son, So Cal Curandero. We are hoping that Perfect Storm will follow in his footsteps. This is a very "showy" male. We think Chispa may be the best suri produced on our Marin County farm to date! Both his sire and dam have won raves from judges about their luster--and his sire is a 2-time AOBA Champion, "Best Lock" at AOBA, and Level 5 Judges' Choice winner. He catches your eye from a distance--Chispa's fleece sparkles in the sunlight. Chispa means "spark" or "sparkle" in Spanish, and our Chispa has a spark of energy and sparkling, shimmering fleece to boot! Chispa has locking to the skin and nice density--and he has grandsire, Balboa's perfect head. What a powerhouse of genetics! He starts his show career in Spring, 2018. Spiff is what we call a "love child"--we did not know his dam, Accoyo Esmeralda, was pregnant but she popped him out down in the field! He is her first cria, and we don't know who the sire is....but we suspect it is a huacaya! Esmeralda loved this little boy and gave him lots of milk and attention, and as he grew, he proved to be the most adventurous of the crias. I said he was "intrepid", and he reminded of Spaceman Spiff (from Calvin and Hobbes), so the name stuck! Now that he is an adult, Spiff keeps a low profile--he doesn't get into trouble and he loves to eat! He is still adorable and he still has the most beautiful fleece with lovely locking. He will be a perfect pet/fiber male for your mini-herd.

Rocket is the "love child" of our champion suri Balboa daughter and our multi-champion huacaya male, Rocky (so named for Rocky and his Friends). Of course, the original Rocky's real name was Rocket J. Squirrel. This little boy has lustrous beige suri locks with a few brown spots. In places he gets a bit "crimpy". It's a beautiful, unique fleece and we don't regret him at all.

Coppola's first cria is a dark brown male with black head and points. Just like his sire, he has impressively silky, lustrous locks! He has a perfect wedge-shaped head and a sturdy, correct, balanced conformation. His champion dam gives him the curly locks on his neck. Good lock formation and nice density, but OH that LUSTER!! We don't know who has more luster, sire Coppola or Vito--but he has luster like a looking glass!! The spring shows were cancelled this year, so he won't show 'till fall. We have left him in full fleece and we're going to put him up for sale to see whether savvy breeders will pull the trigger!

Hmmmm, so why did a huacaya breeder buy a Suri herdsire?? Look for yourself--he's an outstanding example of black Suri genetics!! I figured our Western State Suri breeders could use a magnificent male like this to bring color, conformation and LUSTER into their herds. Dale Davis of Derwydd Alpacas agreed--and ended up with a half interest in this boy. We have owned, used, and appreciated him in our herds for 7 years, but now we agree it's time for Marauder to improve other herds! When Kathy Stumpf of Prairie Lakes Alpacas purchased Maruader from Ameripaca she said, "When we saw this male, we knew we had to have him! We purchased him just before he entered the show ring at Mapaca. Solid, true blue-black with locking to rival any white, Marauder impressed the judges as well! Champion at 2010 Mapaca, the judges comments included that he was the 'most unique black male they had ever seen in any country!' They liked him so much that they kept him in the ring after naming the Judges Choice winner to specifically call out his attributes to the audience and stated later that they would have named him judges choice, but, due to the fact that he had been belly shorn, they had to give it to the other male as they could not adequately compare density..." And check out his histogram---An AFD of 20.8 at 22 months of age in a BLACK SURI?!! WHOOOO-EEEE!! Marauder's first crias were born on the East Coast--lustrous offspring with strong conformations, and BLACK! In 2012,Marauder's full sister, Ameripaca's Mona Lisa, took a blue ribbon in halter competition at the Nationals! All in all, Marauder has 19 registered offspring. Between those 19 offspring I count 14 blue ribbons and 3 Reserve Championships (3 separate alpacas). Marauder produces spectacular offspring! Add to this the fact that he is a sweetheart--so easy to handle and a pleasure to have on the farm. He is equally well-behaved with weanlings and with herdsires. Marauder is co-owned with Dale Davis of Derwydd Alpacas, and for the time being he is at Derwydd.

Samichay is a Full Peruvian, 3rd generation Modern Grey, from an outstanding pedigree. His sire (Prince Greystone) is a 4X Grey Color Champion/AOBA Champ out of the famous DSG Condor, and his Silver Grey maternal grandsire 6P Silver Lining was one of Humming Hill Suri Farm Ben Fisco’s tops picks on the 1998 importation from Peru. Quechua Radiance is quite a "head turner", or at least the judges seem to think so! His luminous fleece demonstrates extreme locking to the skin, and it drips with luster. His heritage is 3/4 Accoyo. Radiance has SOLID BONE structure and a perfect conformation. His dam, Q'orianka was legendary on the show circuit and she has been one of our best producers. Both she and his Accoyo sire bring density to Radiance, and we are thrilled to have their handsome son. Even at 4 years of age, on his 5th fleece, he glows in the barn more than any other male, and he has one of the best fleeces of any of our suris. Radiance has a compact, correct, sturdy conformation with BONE!! We have "deployed him" on larger girls, to bring down the cria size and it certainly worked with his first cria, Silken Radiance (his dam is very big!). Radiance has a trouble-free demeanor--not looking for trouble, but willing to stand up for himself. He has a rather "serious" personality, but is easy to handle and loves to be our example of beautiful luster and locking for visitors. Curandero is so loaded with luster, he practically glows in the dark! He is a light fawn male with well-defined locking to the skin. Prince Greystone is a strikingly beautiful Rose Grey Suri herdsire, whose accomplishments in the ring are second to none. He has twice won AAA Futurity Color Champion, he took AOBA and AWE Color Championships, and took first in the International Alpaca Odyssey (no grey championship in that show). He has very uniform, lovely rose grey color throughout, with high luster and excellent independent twisted locks. He is a large, well-conformed male with a very "typey" head. And Greystone's attributes are seen in his offspring!! Many of his spectacular progeny carry the same rose-grey fleece with the trademark "freckles" of his illustrious sire, Condor. Well, Giorgio was a TOTAL SLEEPER for us. He was handsome and had a great pedigree, but he was overlooked for the show string, and we leased him to a farm in Santa Ynez along with his sister and a couple of huacayas. So, the farm called to say they were returning 3 of the girls (the lease period had ended), but it turns out that one of the "girls" they sent in the trailer was actually Giorgio. Yes, he managed to impregnate 3 girls (including his half sister AND a huacaya) in 24 hrs! Turns out that ALL of the crias are GORGEOUS!--even (especially) the "hua-suri" boy, Spike. But the best is El Mago--I can't believe how lustrous and well-defined his locks are, and he has wrinkled skin all over his neck. He's going to start his show career soon, and Giorgio has been bumped up to our stud row, based on his production, as well as his lustrous fleece and conformation. Giorgio's sire, Accoyo Armani, is fawn, and Giorgio has a fawn forelock. So, I'm sure he carries color. He's a big (not huge) boy with an elegant, strong conformation. He's in with 8 other intact males, and they all get along, for the most part. We have way too many excellent quality junior herdsires with great pedigrees, so we are offering all at ridiculously low prices on auction. After we sell the first 2, the prices will go up. We found Mateo, a full-Accoyo son of award-winning Young Accoyo Bracito, while we were negotiating to purchase his dam and sisters from out of state breeders who were closing their business. Mateo had never been shown, and wasn't really halter trained at 1 1/2 years of age. He was GORGEOUS!--strong, strong bone, fineness +luster + locking coming into his 2nd fleece, perfect bite, and a sweet personality. What do you expect? His dam is Accoyo America Pearl, who sold for $80,000 at the 2006 Parade of Champions (high selling Suri), and has produced 2 champion daughters. Her bloodlines include Apache II, heavily into Uribe, and Ganador. His sire is the late Young Accoyo Bracito (of the famed Young Accoyo breeding program), with Baron Lafitte, Baron, and Ramilo in his background and a Futurity Blue Ribbon/Northwest Showcase Championship in his ancestry. So...we took a chance and brought him home with our partners, Mike and Lorraine Smith in Southern California. We showed him at the SouthWest Regional Show, where he took a blue ribbon in halter AND he clinched the blue ribbon in "Produce of Dam" for his mother, Pearl. And take a look at his 2015 and 2018 EPD statistics! Not bad for a "late Bloomer"... I just skirted his 2017 fleece for sale. I was struck by his long staple length, fineness and uniformity of micron, locking, and luster. His blanket, skirted, weighed 4.5 lbs. Accoyo Bracito's Mateo is now at Alpacas of Marin in the north San Francisco Bay area. He is a well-grown, handsome boy with a strong frame. He's also a sweetheart, who loves to eat pellets from my hand and give kisses. I will miss Mateo when he sells--he's the alpha male in his pen, but he is a very benign dictator and keeps his boys in line. We have way too many excellent junior herdsires who are worthy of passing on their genetic potential, and Mateo is one of those guys. So, we are listing them at ridiculous prices on auction, but after we sell the first two boys the prices will go up on the remaining boys. So, act now!

El Brujo ("the wizard") is the lustrous fawn offspring of our multiple blue ribbon winner, Derwydd Greystone's Samichay. He gets his sturdy conformation from his sire, but he gets his extreme luster from his dam, Tanglewood's Sugar Sugar, daughter of the famed Pacific Crest Iceman and grand-daughter of who else?--MacGyver! El Brujo comes from lots of color--black genetics on his dam's side, and the famous Harlequin Grey of his sire's side. Put together, El Brujo (BROO-ho) brings the whole package to the table: correct conformation, locking and LUSTER! The judges agree--3 Blue Ribbons thus far! We are so grateful to have Accoyo El Cedro in our future herdsire line up! We purchased his dam, Accoyo America Pearl (who sold for $80,000 at the 2006 Parade of Champion Auction and was the high-selling Suri), when she was pregnant with Cedro. (And did we mention that Pearl carries FAWN Accoyo genetics?!) His sire is a champion son of the legendary Pucara Kahuna, and it is to Kahuna that we trace El Cedro's "zig-zagging" and well-defined locks. Pearl, on the other hand, makes him drip with luster, and both sire and dam pass on their enviable conformation and solid bone. El Cedro is a well-grown male, with a very calm presence and a sweet personality. He carries the head style of his famous grandsire, Kahuna. El Cedro "wowed" the crowd at the California Classic 2013, taking "runner up" Color Group Banner behind our multi-champion Accoyo Tiburon. He's gone on to take blue ribbons in every show he's entered! With his bloodlines, he will bring excellence to any suri breeding program. We knew when Riobamba was born that we would need a really GOOD name for him--this boy is something special! He's a full-Accoyo son of 7-time Champion, fawn Accoyo Ch'aska, and his dam is an Apache II daughter with her own blue ribbon to display. Riobamba has DENSITY, beautiful locking and LUSTER to burn. He has an excellent, solid conformation with a level top line and a very nice head. Genetics...you want GENETICS?! Well, his (fawn) sire, Accoyo Ch'aska, just took Get of Sire at the California Classic (with Riobamba in his entry) and is a son of the awe-inspiring Pperuvian Bruxo. His dam, Accoyo Calamity Jane, is a daughter of the famous Apache II--he is a a son of the illustrious Pperuvian Uribe and another marvelous Accoyo import, Dulcinea. Riobamba took his first blue ribbon at AlpacaMania 2011 and another blue ribbon at the Gold Country Gathering. THIS JUST IN...Riobamba just took the SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP in the Commercial Halter competition at the International Alpaca Odyssey, judged ty Ruth Elvestad and Jenny Jackson ...yes TWO International judges agreed that he was the best male Suri, any color, any age, in the show!! They loved his "stylish" presentation, the luster and density of his locks, and his strong, straight conformation. What...ANOTHER COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP?! HE HAS PURCHASED RIOBAMBA AND WILL BE AGISTING HIM AT WEST PENN ALPACAS IN PENNSYLVANIA!! WELL DONE, ROY!!

SoCal Armani's Primo combines the award winning genetics of Light Fawn DDF Accoyo Armani (known for his fineness and density), with the lovely conformation of his Light Fawn dam, Winter's Primavera. Both sire and dam pass on excellent substance of bone. This boy is phenotypically white, but very likely will pass on color, given his Light Fawn parents. Primo has a pleasant personality, and shows off his fine, lustrous fleece with excellent substance of lock on a large, balanced frame. He has uniform, well-defined, penciled locking and an elegant conformation. Add to this exceptional luster, and you begin to see the picture. His first time in the ring, he came home with a blue ribbon--his second showing brought him a Reserve Color Championship! Primo has moved to his new digs at Alpacas of Marin north of San Francisco.

Marquis is a striking, tall, elegant Medium Silver Grey Suri Male--heads turn when he passes. And why not? His dam is a MAPACA champion by Platinum Marquis and his sire is twice Futurity Champion and AOBA champion with "too numerous to count" champion offspring, WWR Prince Greystone! So, that means that he not only (obviously) carries the genetics of a classic grey, he may very well also carry the genetics of the modern grey/appaloosa-type that his sire famously demonstrates! So, what will it be from Marquis--Classic grey or modern grey offspring?! At his first show (no grey champion class), he took a blue ribbon and the judge commented that his lovely twisted locks were already"turning themselves into yarn". He went on to take blue ribbons at his second and third shows in Spring 2015. Marquis is a tall male (the Platinum Marquis line is tall) with correct conformation, and a perfect bite (our vet wants us to emphasize that!). He has moderate density and luster, and a straight, round, twisting lock. And now that he's beginning his regrowth, he's almost more gorgeous than he was in full fleece--just a beautiful medium silver grey blanket, and an adorable face! Marquis finished out his show career with yet another blue ribbon in halter from Jude Anderson at the California Classic in 2016. He is standing stud at Alpacas at Windy Hill in Somis, CA where he has settled his first girls.

Silken Radiance was a bit of a "sleeper"--we knew he had great density and luster, with very well-defined ropey locks, but somehow the pieces didn't come together until he became a yearling. But WHAT A DEBUT HE HAS HAD!! The judges (both Wini LeBreq and Babs Manion are known for their expertise in FIBER judging as well as comformation) just LOVED him at the International Alpaca Odyssey, awarding him first place in Halter and in Fleece, and the Color Championship in Halter! They were particularly excited about his fineness and LUSTER, and no wonder--this is the calling card of his sire, our Quechua Radiance. On the other hand, his dam is a daughter of the fabulous Snowmass Silken Gold, who is also fabled for his fineness and luster! And there aren't a lot of suris with that famous name... But it's not only his gorgeous fleece that makes him such a winner--just get a gander at his BONE!! Silken Radiance has a large, well-balanced frame, and he is a male who will do well as a breeding macho. We have WAY too many outstanding junior herdsires who need new, good homes and really deserve to spread their genetic potential. So, we are listing Silken Radiance as well as several other males, at ridiculously low prices. Once we have sold 2, the prices will go up on the others. So get in while you can! Silken Radiance has moved to "new digs" at our ranch in coastal Marin County.

Winter Storm was the first cria born at our farm in the north San Francisco Bay area, after many years of agisting with other breeders. He grew...well...like a MOOSE--and the nickname stuck. Now, Winter Storm turned out to be normal in size, but his dam is a great mom and got him off to a vigorous start, so we still call him "the Moose". But what we have seen develop is a fantastically fine and lustrous fleece with well defined flat locks. Of all the alpacas on our farm--suri and huacaya, juvies and adults, Winter Storm boasts one of the finest fleeces--sampled at 18 months of age!! Now that he has had several EPD tests done, he has placed in the top 1% for AFD for 3 years in a row!! This is not really surprising since his dam is a daughter of the fantastic Snowmass Silken Gold, known for fineness and luster. At the West Coast Alpaca Show, Winter Storm took the blue ribbon in Walking Fleece, beating the male who would eventually take the Top Suri award for the show! And his sire, Curandero, is a son of AOBA Champion Saber's Red Storm Rising. Curandero has numerous championships to his name and gives Winter Storm his elegant, fluid conformation and style. His dam, Winter Silk, is our farm greeter for visitors and passes on to him her strong bone, balanced frame with level top line, fine fleece, as well as even more luster! Winter Storm is white, but both Curandero and Silk's sire are fawn, so he may well pass color. Winter Storm would do well in your breeding program to bring in extreme fineness and luster. HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS!!--You thought our Supreme Champion Suri male, Riobamba was hot stuff? Wait 'till you see his full brother, Accoyo Tiburon!! Tiburon may be the best one yet--at 7 months of age he has a fabulous conformation with BONE, and incredibly lustrous dense locking fleece that absolutely glows across the show-ring! A wonderful wedge-shaped head and a "presence" that belies his youth. Jill MacLeod, who placed him first of 11 entries and Reserve Champion behind his full brother, told the audience to "keep an eye on this alpaca"--he will go far! Yes, Tiburon comes from the same breeding of an Accoyo America Apache II daughter (with a blue ribbon from IAO, herself!) to an Accoyo Bruxo son. Tiburon's parents are both fawn Accoyos, and his sire Ch'aska boasts numerous championships and champion offspring, as well as "Get of Sire" at the California Classic. Tibby will be starting his breeding career late fall, 2013. We can't wait to see what he produces! Tiburon agists with Dale and Jan Davis at Derwydd Alpacas in Northern California.

We're crazy about our El Vago! This is a very "showy" male who loves to be the center of attention. His lustrous fleece is almost luminous--and it's accentuated by his "fading fawn" coloring with the darker top line. But don't let that light fawn color fool you--his sire is True Black Multi-Champion AABC Marauder, and his dam has black in her background as well. El Vago has a natural confidence, which makes him a sweetheart, and easy to handle. He was the leader in his cria group--always eager to explore, and he took naturally to the halter and lead. He just likes to "strut his stuff" in his cute brown shoes! You can see that El Vago has a presence, and he has a strong, balanced conformation with a very straight top line. His fleece is silky and fine--in fact, he took Reserve Color Champion in Fleece in the 2014 AlpacaMania show. El Vago would be a good herdsire for a small farm that wants to experiment with color genetics, or he would make an excellent fiber male. And, heck--he's just an awful lot of fun to have around! What do you expect from a MAPACA grey champion dam... bred to the legendary AOBA champion grey sire, Prince Greystone? Well, what you see is what you get--a luscious bay black boy with loads of luster and locking to the skin. The judge agreed, and also appreciated his "solidity of lock"--aka density, and balanced conformation. So, our Matarani took a competative blue ribbon his first time in the ring! Matarani just came back from the SouthWest Regional Alpaca show with a second competative blue ribbon! Congratulations to Jim O'Donnell and Desiree Mulligan of JED Ranch. They have purchased Matarani and will be brining him home to Murrieta, CA after showing him at the California Classic!

We are LOVING this Balboa grandson, sired by RGSA Coppola. His dam, Balboa's Fanfare of PVA, is a champion out of the prestigious PVA program. His sire, RGSA Coppola, is a true black multi-champion and Futurity RC. So, Fredo comes from black genetics on both sides! He's back from the shows, and the judges loved his style and conformation, awarding him a RC banner and 2 blue ribbons. Amanda VandenBosch commented that he also got an award as the "best behaved alpaca in the ring". He really is a sweetheart, and adorable with his new haircut... This is a stylish, "flashy" suri boy--lustrous moderately twisted locks and good density that he shows off as he cavorts through the barnyard and fields. Because of his copper-colored fleece, he is especially eye-catching! PERFECT, straight, balanced conformation and that lovely wedge-shaped "Balboa head" covered in bright copper curls. He is a medium-to dark fawn, but not a "fading fawn" on his blanket.

Paiget is one of our best producers--a well-conformed, VERY lustrous daughter of Kobe of PVA--son of the illustrious Mahogany Prince. She's a wonderful, trouble-free Mom who passes her luster and robust health to her cria. We are so eager to see the results of her breeding to our very grey AOBA champion, Prince Greystone! Congratulations to Beverly Brehm of Rogue Suri Alpacas for purchasing Paiget and her lovely GREY FEMALE cria by Greystone!

"Anta Sumac" means "Beautiful Copper" in Quechua, the native tongue of the Incas. Our Anta Sumac looks like a freshly minted copper penny--and has just as much shine and luster as a coin. She's one of our favorite alpacas on the farm--halter trained by the 4H kids, she's interested in people and unafraid in new situations. She was a real hit at the Gold Country Gathering this year--everyone LOVED her cute personality. She let strangers pat her on the head and hummed back at them happily. I must confess, if Anta Sumac were a human, she would be a chain smoker: she always has a twig or piece of hay in her mouth to work on! Anta Sumac is growing up to have the elegant frame of her sire, multi champion Curandero. She also carries his luster and locking, and she is quite the "head-turner". The judge at the California Classic in 2017 admired her elegance, balanced frame, luster and locking. Anta Sumac sells with a breeding to any of our herdsires--we'd suggest Accoyo El Cedro, or perhaps one of our black multi-champions: Obsidian Marquis or AAOA Marauder or RGSA Coppola, or SoCal Greystone's Marko. Esmeralda is a regal lady--she knows what a great pedigree she has! Accoyo Ganador, Apache II, Uribe, and Chachapoya blend together to create this wonderful female. And she carries the potential to pass color--she can thank Apache II for that! Esmeralda is a well-grown girl--her dam, Pearl comes from large-boned stock. She has nice density of fleece with a pleasing twist and curl, lovely luster, and a slick handle. Check out her excellent 2018 EPDs! Esmeralda is an easy breeder and has been a great mom to her first cria, Intrepid. She comes with a free breeding, and we think our Accoyo Kahuna's Giovanni would be great for her. Or, for a Uribe/Pearl line breed, we can offer our AOA RC Marin's Accoyo Bracero. Your choice--or you can "bank" a breeding to use on another female! Pilar is technically "indefinite dark" in color--regular distribution of white fibers on a black-based fleece. We think this will translate to silver grey genetics, because her dam is a MAPACA Light Silver Grey Champion and her sire is True Black multi-champion Balboa of PVA. But either way, she can produce outstanding dark crias, and she is an excellent mother. She has a medium frame--sturdy but feminine, and really excellent luster and locking. And did we mention that she has the perfect head that is the signature of her sire...AND fuzzy ears!! And Pilar has done well in the show ring, with 6 blue ribbons! So, we have a confession to make--we think our dogs played a major role in introducing Pilar to Red Storm, and our dogs are the matchmakers who are responsible for her outstanding first cria, Chispa. (We have very smart dogs.) But we are hopeful that her pregnancy after one exposure indicates that she will continue to be an easy breeder. Fingers crossed!
